The aromatherapy is different from herbal medicine in science and practice, but there is something same in research and application of essential oils. Essential oils were brought into botany course in herbal medecine field. Most of herbalists use the whole plant instead of some compositions of it, such as essential oils. However, it is not rare that traditional and herbal phtsicians use medical esential oils in medical practices, but it is from herbalist’s prospective rather than aromatherapist.
